Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang have been a staple couple of “Grey’s Anatomy” since the fifth season, but they’ve had one of the most tumultuous relationships to date. That’s saying a lot, especially considering the other couples have had to deal with cancer, a near-death drowning experience and unexpected children popping up … twice.

But now, it seems that the damage is irreparable between the two surgeons. After the explosive ending of the Jan. 19 episode, “Hope for the Hopeless,” viewers learned that Owen still hasn’t forgiven Cristina for getting an abortion – despite the fact that he supportively held her hand through the experience.

Suzanne Somers hosted her “Three’s Company” costar Joyce DeWitt Thursday on her online program, “Breaking Through.”

It was billed as the first time the women had seen each other in more than 30 years.

Somers and DeWitt got emotional discussing the missing member of their “Three’s Company” reunion, John Ritter, who died due to complications from a heart condition in 2003.

NEW YORK (AP) — Ben Gazzara, whose powerful dramatic performances brought an intensity to a variety of roles and made him a memorable presence in such iconic productions over the decades as the original “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” on Broadway and the film “The Big Lebowski,” has died at age 81.

Longtime family friend Suzanne Mados said Gazzara died Friday in Manhattan. Mados, who owned the Wyndham Hotel, where celebrities such as Peter Falk and Martin Sheen stayed, said he died after being placed in hospice care for cancer. She and her husband helped marry Gazzara and his wife, German-born Elke Krivat, at their hotel.

Another American is setting up residence at “Downton Abbey.”

ITV and Carnival films announced Monday that Shirley MacLaine is joining the U.K. series for its upcoming third season. The Oscar winner’s addition makes her the second American cast member (and character) on the British period drama.

She’s set to play Martha Levinson, the American mother of Lady Grantham (Elizabeth McGovern), and joins the cast as they begin shooting the new season next month.

In preparation for Marg Helgenberger’s last episode of “CSI” — which aired on Wednesday on CBS — EW talked to the 53-year-old actress about becoming the third original star (behind Gary Dourdan and William Petersen) to depart the long-running crime drama, as well as what she’ll miss, and whether she’ll ever come back.

Entertainment Weekly: You say goodbye to the other members of the CSI team in the last scene of your final episode. Was that by design?

Late night hosts are using everything they’ve got to poke fun at the Republican presidential candidate race, from Jimmy Fallon making campaign ad parodies to Jimmy Kimmel’s “A Charlie Brown GOP Debate.”

But “The Tonight Show’s” Jay Leno might have gone too far for a few laughs.

On January 19, the show aired images of each GOP candidate’s home during Leno’s monologue. When it came to Mitt Romney, however, the image of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, India was shown as his summer home, possibly to mock the extent of Romney’s wealth.

Ryan Seacrest is getting his own TV network after all.

The multi-hyphenate, along with partners AEG and talent agency CAA, have struck a deal with billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban to rebrand his HDNET as AXS TV (pronounced Access) beginning this summer.

The channel’s programming lineup will rely heavily on live lifestyle and live entertainment fare, leveraging the music assets of AEG, a top venue owner and and tour promoter, and the A-list connections and production capabilities of Seacrest. As part of the rebrand, the network will cater to pop culture and entertainment enthusiasts rather than the younger, heavily-male demographic that HDNet historically has targeted. Cuban will continue to lead the channel on behalf of the venture, with Denver, Co.-based Philip Garvin still involved as general manager of network operations.

(EW.com) — Though “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” are history, “General Hospital” — for now — is firmly ensconced in ABC’s daytime lineup.

But since ratings aren’t as strong as they used to be — the show’s averaging a 1.1 rating among adults women 18-49, down 21 percent from last year — and given how Katie Couric’s syndicated talk show is coming to ABC stations this fall, it’s still possible that the good people of Port Charles may lose their home in daytime.

But it could have a future in primetime: EW has confirmed that ABC entertainment chief Paul Lee is pondering one scenario that would allow the soap to air as an evening summer series. Not a bad thought, right?

It’s Ba-a-a-ck!

The 11th season of “American Idol” arrives on Fox tonight, and host Ryan Seacrest says for some viewers, the return can’t come soon enough.

“I’ve been hearing a lot of ‘We can’t wait,’” Seacrest told ABC News Radio. “Actually, I’ve been hearing more ‘I can’t wait for ‘American Idol ‘to come back this next season’ than I’ve heard in two or three years.’”

Seacrest says he finds that interesting, because there’s so much more competition, from shows like NBC’s “The Voice,” but, he noted, “From what I hear, there’s just something about the original, and the Americana, that is ‘American Idol.’”

LOS ANGELES — Big Hollywood names claimed trophies at Sunday night’s Golden Globe awards, with legends Meryl Streep, Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen and George Clooney picking up honors.

Streep, who plays former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady,” won the award for best actress in a motion picture drama.

Clooney won the best actor award for his role in “The Descendants,” and the film itself later won for best motion picture drama. In the film, Clooney plays a Hawaiian land baron who struggles with family issues as his cheating wife lies in a coma.
