Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang have been a staple couple of “Grey’s Anatomy” since the fifth season, but they’ve had one of the most tumultuous relationships to date. That’s saying a lot, especially considering the other couples have had to deal with cancer, a near-death drowning experience and unexpected children popping up … twice.

But now, it seems that the damage is irreparable between the two surgeons. After the explosive ending of the Jan. 19 episode, “Hope for the Hopeless,” viewers learned that Owen still hasn’t forgiven Cristina for getting an abortion – despite the fact that he supportively held her hand through the experience.

(CNN) — During a 1996 interview with television talk show host Charlie Rose, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs took exception to Rose’s characterization of him as “a guy who founds high-tech companies and tries to make another billion.”

“Yeah, well, I don’t think of myself that way,” Jobs said. “The things that I have done in my life, I think the things we do now at Pixar [the animation company he bought in 1986], these are team sports. They are not something one person does.”

If pop culture were a team sport, Jobs would have certainly played quarterback.

In April, “Lights Out” showrunner Warren Leight boarded the drama boarded the drama to replace long-time head Neal Baer, who opted to step down from the procedural after more than a decade with the series. Then in May, co-star Chris Meloni parted ways with the drama on which he starred for 12 seasons after contract negotiations broke down. Meanwhile, rumors swirled that Meloni’s on-screen partner, Mariska Hargitay, would be reducing her time with the series to spend more time with her family and new adopted daughter.

Jon Gosselin made no effort to conceal his joy over the cancellation of “Kate Plus 8,” saying he was “relieved” that the show was over and that his kids could finally have some much needed privacy. (CNN) — Former college and pro football star Charles Aaron “Bubba” Smith, who went on to an acting career after his retirement from sports, was found dead at his home, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said Wednesday. He was 66.

Police and fire officials were called to Smith’s home after “he was found unresponsive” and pronounced him dead, said Ed Winter, assistant chief of operations and investigation for the coroner.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Investigators are examining the taxi from the Canadian edition of the TV show “Cash Cab” to see whether it had a mechanical defect that may have contributed to a fatal pedestrian accident, police said Tuesday.

A member of the show’s technical crew was driving the vehicle back to
a storage facility late on Saturday when he ran into a 61-year-old man
in a crosswalk in Vancouver, city police said. The man died in a local
hospital on Sunday.

Vancouver police constable Lindsey Houghton said no charges have been
brought in the case and there was no indication that alcohol or weather
played a role in the accident.

A brief period existed in the spring of 2007 when Amy Winehouse teetered between chanteuse with a cult following, and international superstar. It was right about the time her game-changing album, “Back to Black” was released, and just before the resulting wildfire of fame engulfed her.

Steve Kandrell, now editor-in-chief of Spin, interviewed her at a New York hotel right around that time. “We did a cover story,” he said, “but at the time she hadn’t really begun to get her head around why people wanted to talk to her.”

On Thursday, a small group of journalists were introduced to SuperHeavy, the eclectic new supergroup featuring Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Damian Marley, Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart and “Slumdog Millionaire” composer A.R. Rahman.

The five global music stars gathered in Studio A at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood to explain their surprise collaboration.

The music sounds like the sum of its parts – a joyous fusion of rock, soul, reggae and percussive Indian beats, with vocals from Jagger and Stone seamlessly interwoven with Marley’s distinct toasting.

SYDNEY – Jerry Lewis was hospitalized Friday after he was unable to perform at a show in suburban Sydney, but his publicist said he was simply overtired and was released after a few hours.

The 85-year-old actor, comedian and tireless advocate for muscular dystrophy research is on a fundraising tour for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia. He arrived at the Rooty Hill Returned Servicemen’s League club, where he was to perform, but he couldn’t get out of the car, said Ian Lowe, the club’s general manager.

The foundation said the Sydney show had been sold out. CEO David Jack apologized in a statement, saying that Lewis was “not well enough to take the stage,” without elaborating.
