(CNN) — Brooke Mueller wants to remove restrictions on her ability to meet with husband Charlie Sheen following his Christmas Day arrest for alleged domestic violence.
Mueller has hired celebrity lawyer Yale Galanter, who for years represented O.J. Simpson, to file papers with the Aspen court asking the judge to allow Brooke and Charlie to resume contact with each other “so they can work on resolving the conflicts in their marriage.”
Galanter said that Mueller and Sheen still love each other, and called the Christmas incident “one bad night.”

(PEOPLE.com) — In the aftermath of the alleged ransacking of the Manhattan apartment they shared, Jon Gosselin and ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman continue to fling accusations at each other — via their lawyers.
On Monday, Gosselin’s attorney Mark Jay Heller told RadarOnline.com, “Hailey Glassman is going to jail, it’s as simple as that.” Now Glassman’s camp — who called the incident a publicity stunt — is firing back.
“For an attorney to go out there and say someone’s going to jail when they’re not even arrested — that’s just irresponsible,” Glassman’ lawyer Stephanie Ovadia tells PEOPLE. “That is the most ludicrous, ridiculous, unnecessary statement I have ever in my life heard.”

(PEOPLE.com) — It’s the stuff country songs are made of.
David Hasselhoff and his ex-wife Pamela Bach are having a troubled start to the holiday season — one landing in the hospital, the other in jail over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Hasselhoff was hospitalized for two days, PEOPLE has confirmed, though his attorney Mel Goldsman would not disclose the nature of his illness.
“David is home now and he’s fine,” said Goldsman.
Hasselhoff’s troubles began at home on Friday. Though authorities did not identify the name of the patient or the owner of the home, a fire department spokesman did confirm that paramedics responded to a call for medical aid at 11:51 a.m. at a home in Encino, and the patient was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. People learned that the address of the home matches the one owned by Hasselhoff.
